I hope eveyrone is fine. I been away for quite awhile. I took a full time job and was super busy, but now I'm laid off and unemployed. Hurray for being a stay at home mom again. I may take some online classes and finish up my degree.

I been enjoying being home the last week. I saw a hummingbird at my feeder. In case you don't remember I had never seen one in person and I had been trying to attract them to my yard for 3 years, adding new plants that they like and faithfully refilling the feeders. well, on the 4th of July as soon as I put up the fresh nectar and went back to gril (hubby was sick) I was so shocked that a hummer showed up. Most importantly I proved hubby wrong. He said I would never attract one to our yard. He didn't think they were around this area. Of course he had seen them being from Mississippi but he swore I would not see them and that I was wasting my time. wow, it feels good to prove him wrong.

Also I've attracted goldfinches to my yard for first time also. I been enjoying my gardening and birding and of course excited to be stay at home mom again. don't think I'm in a hurry to go back to work, just want to collect my unemployment and enjoy being a stay at home mom and play webkinz -- at least for few months. and also looking forward to Disneyworld next week for family vacation. let the fun begin

Mutter, hello, nice to chat with you. wow, school starting for you already. the summer is flying by. I have one starting college, one starting high school and one starting first grade in another month.

Jazz!!!! So good to see you here! Glad all is going well. Come back often. I've missed you. Congrats on finally seeing that hummingbird. Have fun in Disney. We are going to Sanibel Island week after next and I can't wait!!!
